We feel lucky to have so many great relationships with top venues throughout New England. One of our favorites is Willowdale Estate in Topsfield.
A few weeks back we were asked to be part of their bridal fashion show which we were more than happy to help out with due to our solid professional relationship that has grown even stronger over the past year. We have always loved working their and feel lucky to be there so often throughout the season.
Our focus for this bridal event was to add some visual punch to the fashion show. We were told that they were having Party By Design bring in some great decor such as a white dance floor and white drape. As a lighting designer, this type of highly reflective decor really allows us to ramp-up the visual power and impact we can generate with light and color, giving us the exact “punch” we wanted for this type of event.
We brought in two key elements… Our new Paper Lantern Lighting Systems and our core service of LED Uplighting. Take a look at this first image shot by Bharat Parmar Photography.
What you will first notice is the color and contrast of how these two lighting elements play together (Uplights and Lighted Paper Lanterns). Second, we want you to look further down at other photos and notice the actual lantern system. What you see are clean design lines. No heavy looking power cables running to each lantern, no thick lines with a mess of wire wrapped around them. This is the “signature” perfect look we always strive for and have achieved with this new lighting system.
Next…. Look at the light coming from the lanterns. The light system was designed and built by us especially for paper lanterns and other shaded systems. Notice it’s perfect 360deg smooth illumination of the lantern. Also notice the nice warm color it has. No cheap blue look! Also, notice how bright this baby is! Those lanterns are floating over an area with 10 Uplights surrounding it, but they still kick through with a defined beautiful presence.
This beautiful look is the result of a year of R&D, and stands out as a prime example of our relentless pursuit of excellence in every area we specialize in.
Creating a light system for paper lanterns has been both an extreme challenge as well as a huge accomplishment. We are proud to say this system is totally unique to Boston Uplights and no other company world-wide has anything even close to this level of specialized light system.
